Mike Langen is a lecturer (assistant professor equivalent) in Real Estate Finance & Investments at Henley Business School in Reading, England. His research is on real estate, focusing on externalities and sustainability factors in the residential real estate market.

Mike holds a PhD in Real Estate Finance from Maastricht University. During this time, he has visited Massachusetts Institute of technology (MIT) and the University of Cambridge. After obtaining his PhD, he worked as a postdoc researcher for the Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies (IREUS) at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
